Meet our Leaders
Mark Fisher joined the PVYC staff team in 2020 when he moved to the area with his wife Amanda and three kids from Lancaster, PA. He eventually became the Executive Director in July of 2023. He has a degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management that he used in that line of work before feeling called to full time ministry as a Worship Leader and now ED at the Penns Valley Youth Center. He has a great desire and passion to see students grow to their full potential. His other interests include playing music, cooking, and farming.
Amanda joined the Penns Valley Youth Center Staff in 2020. She has a Bachelor's of Science in General Biology from The Pennsylvania State University. She has a passion for students and helping teens develop and grow in their communities. Amanda lives in Spring Mills with her husband Mark, their three children, Mary, Aaron and Grace, and their dog Marley. Amanda homeschools her children, and is on the Penns Valley Penguins Swim Team Board. She also enjoys crafting and dancing.
Lily started working at PVYC in 2019 but has been with us since she was in school coming to our programming. She wants to be able to impact students the way the leaders did when she was attending. Lily is also a full time florist in her family's business with a degree in Plant Science. In her free time, she likes spending time with family and friends, binge watching “Gilmore Girls”, laying in a hammock, and doing something crafty.
Chris started at PVYC in November 2017 when life brought him to the Penns Valley area after being a mechanical engineer for the United States Navy. He is passionate about helping and guiding students through life’s highs and lows. You can find Chris playing basketball and being active in the gym during our programming hours. Off site, he loves to go swimming, rock climbing, welding, and eating tacos.
